Operate and maintain a 4WD vehicle course covers all aspects of operating a four-wheel-drive vehicle, including but not limited to; pre-journey planning, pre-departure checks, driving in a variety of terrains, including inclines and declines, water, water ruts, stop stall start key procedure, vehicle recovery using a snatch strap and demonstrate safe use of a jack.

Drive and recover a 4WD vehicle course covers all aspects of operating a four-wheel-drive vehicle, including and not limited to, perform pre-departure checks, drive in a variety of terrains, stop stall start recovery procedure, driving techniques for gravel roads, recover a 4WD vehicle using a single snatch strap, vehicle jack is located and used as per manufacturers guidelines.

Operate 4WD vehicle course, covers all aspects of operating a four-wheel-drive vehicle, including but not limited to; apply safe loading practices and secure personal items, use 4WD features to drive in a variety of terrain types, drive-in rocky areas, water ruts and water crossings, stop stall key start recovery procedure, single snatch strap recovery, travelling in convoy and demonstrate safe use of a jack.
